We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to manage the social media platforms for Jazeera Airways, deliver relevant campaigns to grow and activate followers and ensure timely response to customer queries.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage implementation of Jazeera Airways social media strategy across key channels: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube.
  • Create calendar for social postings to support marketing campaigns, grow fan bases and increase engagement.
  • Support key Jazeera Airways messages – product & service messages, route launches, and corporate news.
  • Supervise creation and production of relevant content to support social postings (video, stills, infographics etc).
  • Monitor all social postings from Jazeera Airways and ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Develop briefs for campaigns based on marketing plans, brief agency partner and manage development for internal review.
  • Supervise community management with the Agency and Call Centre and ensuring customer enquiries/ complaints are resolved in good time.
  • Produce regular social media reports and updates.
  • Oversee technical implementation of Customer Loyalty programs across all the channels.


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in relevant subject.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in similar role.
  • Knowledge of all key social media platforms and their functionality.
  • Ability to think creatively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong co-ordination skills.
  • Attention to details, quality and meticulousness of tasks.
  • Fluent in Arabic & English.
